Access & links

Why does the link ask for a code?
The owner restricted access and enabled a guest code.
Ask the owner to grant you access or enter the code — access is usually saved on this device for a few hours.
If the code doesn’t work, ask for the current one (it may have changed).
What do the access levels mean?
These are the main access settings for a profile/list/event.
Open to Everyone Anyone with the link can open it.
Followers only Only your followers.
Specific people Only selected people you granted access to.
No one Access is closed for everyone except you.

Note: Guest access / Access Code is a separate setting.

What is Guest access / Access Code?
It’s a guest entry code: anyone with the link + code can view the list/event even without an account.
I entered the code but it still won’t open. Why?
Usually it’s one of these: the code changed, you opened a different link (different list/event), or the owner disabled guest access.
If it still doesn’t work, refresh the page or try another browser/device.
Why is the profile visible but the list/event is hidden?
Profiles, each list, and each event have their own access settings.
A profile can be visible while a specific list/event is restricted.
Can I set access separately for profiles, lists, and events?
Yes. Profiles, each list, and each event have separate access settings.
If access is “No one”, will a guest code still work?
Yes. If Guest access is enabled, anyone with the link + code can view even if the main access is closed.
Why isn’t guest access saved?
Sometimes the browser doesn’t store cookies (for example because of blockers).
Then you may be asked for the code again — try another browser/device.
I followed someone — why can’t I still see the list/event?
Following helps only if the resource access is set to “Followers only”.
Otherwise it depends on the owner’s settings (specific people / guest code / closed).
Can I forward the link and guest code to someone else?
Yes, if the owner is okay with it.
Anyone with the link + code can get guest access (and reserve if allowed).
Can the guest code be changed?
Yes.
After changing it, the old code stops working and a new code may be required.

Reservations

Why don’t I see the “Reserve” button?
The owner may have turned off reservations or restricted who can reserve.
What do the reservation rules mean?
This setting controls who can reserve.
Anyone who can view Anyone with view access can reserve (including guests with a code, if enabled).
Followers only Only the owner’s followers can reserve.
Reservations disabled Reservations are turned off.
Who can cancel a reservation or mark as gifted?
Cancel reservation — the wish owner or the person who reserved it.
Mark as gifted — only the wish owner.
Why can’t I reserve if I can see the list?
Reservations may be turned off or restricted by the owner (for example, followers only or specific people).
How do I turn off reservations completely?
In settings, choose “Reservations disabled”.

Lists & wishes

How do contributions to a shared list work?
When contributions are enabled for a shared list, signed-in people allowed by its access settings can add wishes. They can edit only the wishes they added; the list owner can manage everything.
Guests using only an access code cannot contribute.
How do I add a wish quickly?
Open the product in any app or website → Share → Craftbox.
If the site is supported, details will auto-fill — choose where to save (list/event) or at least add a title and tap Save.
Where does the wish image come from?
We use your photo first. If there’s no photo, we try to fetch a preview from the link.
If there’s still no image, we show a placeholder.

Events & content

What’s the difference between a list and an event?
A list is a wishlist without a specific date.
An event is an occasion with a date: great for collecting wishes for that moment and sharing shared content (like photos).
Events become memories for participants, and global events let you browse many people’s wishes for the same occasion (like Christmas).
Who can add photos or content to an event?
The owner can enable gift suggestions and photo uploads for each event.
When enabled, signed-in followers or participants who meet the event’s visibility rules can add content. Guests using only an access code can view but cannot contribute.
What can guests (link + code) do?
Guests can view the list/event and reserve if allowed.
Guests cannot add ideas/photos/content.
Why can’t I add ideas or photos to the event?
If you are not the owner or creator, gift suggestions or photo uploads may be disabled, or your account may not meet the event’s visibility rules. Guests using only an access code cannot add content.
Can guests add ideas or photos?
No. Guests using only an access code can view and, if allowed, reserve gifts. Eligible signed-in followers or participants can add content when the owner enables it.
What’s the difference between a guest and an account user?
Guest: viewing (and reserving if allowed).
Account user: can create lists and events and, when their role, event visibility, and owner settings allow it, add gift suggestions or photos.

Account & privacy

Why can’t I see the owner’s name or avatar?
If the profile isn’t open to everyone, some details may be hidden from guests — it’s a privacy setting.
What happens to guest access after logout?
Logging out may clear browser access — you might need to enter the guest code again.

If it still doesn’t work, try another browser/device and disable blockers.
